    We are recruiting to fill the position below:

    Job Title: Store Assistant

    Location: Gujeni, Kaduna

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain inventory of hazardous chemicals such as ammonium nitrate, sodium nitrate, acetic acid, HSD, furnace oil, and wax.
    • Track and record the availability of engineering items, including pumps, agitators, gearboxes, valves, and electrical components.
    • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and segregation of hazardous materials as per safety guidelines.
    • Prepare periodic inventory and compliance reports for management review.
    • Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of equipment like RO water plants, water softener plants, and electrical boilers.
    • Monitor adherence to environmental regulations and guidelines for hazardous material storage and disposal.

    Requirements

    • Diploma / Degree in Materials Management, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Certification in hazardous material handling or safety management is preferred.
    • 5 – 7 years of experience in store management, preferably in chemical manufacturing or similar industries handling hazardous materials.
    • Experience with engineering items such as pumps, agitators, valves, electrical components, and instrumentation.
    • Familiarity with vehicles like bulk matrix delivery trucks, forklifts, and SINO trucks.
