Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary
- The Mechanical Maintenance Officer is responsible for the installation and performance of maintenance activities on a wide variety of mechanical machinery and equipment, including generators, compressors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, machine tools, conveyors and other mechanical systems.
Job Description
- Performance of preventive and corrective maintenance services on diesel engine generators (between 100KVA to 1000KVA range)
- Troubleshooting and repair of reciprocating engine compressors and screw compressors in the 7.5h.p, 10h.p, 50h.p etc range.
- Performance of tasks which include replacing worn compressors, lubricating gears, motors, pumps and mechanical moving forks, changing dull tools, calibrating instruments, replacing filters, gears, valves, tubes and cables, etc.
- Performance of possible inspections on plant, machinery and equipment.
- Documentation of maintenance activities.
- Performance of other duties as may be assigned by the maintenance manager.
MinimumQualifications
- BSc / HND in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable tertiary institution.
- Knowledge of CAT diesel generators is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines and equipment is highly desired.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults using test probes, multi mentors etc.
- Computer literate.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 4 – 5 years experience.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
