The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the procedure for checking the 2025 UTME results.
According to JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, candidates can check their results using SMS only for now. Here’s how:
Steps to Check Your UTME Result via SMS
Open the Messages app on your phone.
Type the word UTMERESULT (make sure it’s one word, no space).
Send the message to 55019 or 66019.
Use the same phone number you used when registering for JAMB.
Important Notes
Standard SMS charges will apply, so make sure you have airtime.
If your result is ready, you’ll receive a reply with your scores.
If your result is still being processed or there’s an issue, the reply will tell you what to do.
What About Printing the Result?
JAMB says result printing will be available later. Once announced, candidates will be able to log in to the JAMB portal and download/print their official result slip.
