Job Description
Lesson Planning and Delivery:
- Prepare and teach lessons across multiple subjects or according to the curriculum.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline and create a positive and safe learning environment.
Student Development:
- Monitor academic, social, and emotional progress of students and provide support as needed.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and behavior.
Parent Communication:
- Regularly update parents on student progress and address any concerns.
Pastoral Care:
- Serve as a mentor and role model, providing guidance and support to students.
Assessment and Feedback:
- Prepare, administer, and evaluate assessments; provide constructive feedback.
Curriculum Implementation:
- Align teaching with school policies and curriculum requirements.
Collaboration:
- Work with other teachers, support staff, and administrators to enhance student learning.
Event Participation:
- Coordinate and participate in school activities, events, and assemblies.
Classroom Organization:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
Professional Development:
- Engage in training and self-improvement to enhance teaching skills.
