Program Structure and Key Components
The World Trade Organization (WTO) Young Trade Leaders Programme 2024 is meticulously designed to foster the professional growth and development of emerging trade leaders. Spanning a comprehensive duration of six months, the programme is structured to ensure that participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in global trade dynamics.
The programme follows a well-defined schedule, encompassing a blend of workshops, seminars, and field visits. These are strategically organized to provide a balanced learning experience. Workshops and seminars are conducted by seasoned experts in the field, covering a wide range of topics from international trade policies to current global market trends. These sessions not only aim to enhance participants’ understanding of trade mechanisms but also to hone their analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Selection Process
The WTO Secretariat will review all applications. Short-listed applicants will be invited to take part in an interview in July 2024.
Selected leaders will not receive remuneration but they will be invited to travel to Geneva to participate in the 2024 WTO Public Forum in September.
