The TVET Initiative offers two flexible training options to suit your background and goals
The Federal Ministry of Education’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Initiative is a comprehensive program designed to equip young Nigerians with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship. Through partnerships with certified training centers across the country, the initiative offers tuition-free training, monthly stipends, and start-up support for selected trades in high-demand sectors.
TVET STC Program
- Individuals new to vocational training, including school leavers and those without any formal education background.
- A valid National Identification Number (NIN)
- A valid Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- No formal education is needed. This pathway is tailored for those eager to gain hands-on skills and quickly transition into the workforce.

TVET Vocational Education & Inovation (VEI) Program
Those with some education or informal training who want to formalize and advance their skills.

- Certificate from non-formal training (e.g., NGO, religious, or community programs)
