  • The Team Lead, Capital Market & Advisory shall have responsibility for the arm of the business, leading transaction execution and providing origination support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of projects with clients, which includes and is not limited to structuring transactions across capital raise, financial advisory, financial modelling, valuation and preparation of transaction documents
  • Manage transactions and serve as lead by coordinating the end-to-end capital raising process (public offers, private placements, commercial papers etc)
  • Act as an advisor/mentor to transaction team members and client teams
  • Ensure timely delivery/execution of tasks and transactions
  • Ensure consistent quality of thought, work processes and deliverables
  • Ensure quality of deliverables & work processes; check against agreements to ensure conformity with transaction guidelines and client expectations
  • Manage all aspects of client engagements with emphasis on solutions delivery and client satisfaction
  • Participate actively in leading negotiations; organize and develop proposals and management presentations
  • Formulate solutions to client needs by ensuring a thorough analysis of client opportunities, develop top-level client relationships and harnessing the organizations’ skill pool in positioning the company as the clients’ first in mind solution provider
  • Generate proactive ideas for marketing and solution delivery to existing and target clients
  • Be responsible for team development, performance management and supporting overall human capital within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable tertiary institution (with a minimum of Second-class Upper grade)
  • Professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CIMA or CIS
  • MSc or MBA in finance-related discipline would be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 12 years post-NYSC experience gained in Investment Banking or any other related field.
  • Strategic & Analytical thinking skills.
