Job Title: Solar Operations & Maintenance Engineer
Location: Ogere, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Supervise and coordinate daily activities, including monitoring performance metrics, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment, including scheduling preventive maintenance and coordinating corrective maintenance activities.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyses performance data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize energy production and efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on O&M activities, performance metrics, and budgetary matters for management and stakeholders.
- Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel, including conducting regular safety audits and training programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field, preferably in the solar energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and monitoring software.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-disciplined and result oriented.
