Professor – CONUASS 7
- Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Lower) and a Ph.D.
- Experience: At least 12 years of post-qualification experience in teaching, research, and student supervision at a university.
- Publications: Extensive scholarly work in high-impact journals.
- Leadership: Proven academic leadership and community service.
Reader/Associate Professor – CONUASS 6
- Qualifications: Must have a Ph.D. and a good honours degree (minimum Second Class Lower).
- Experience: At least 9 years of post-qualification experience in university teaching, research, and student supervision.
- Publications: Extensive scholarly work in reputable journals.
- Leadership: Evidence of academic leadership and community service.
- Potential: Capability to progress to full Professor.
- Assessment: External assessment required for Professorial Cadre.
Senior Lecturer – CONUASS 5
- Qualifications: Must hold a Ph.D. and a good honours degree (minimum Second Class Lower).
- Experience: At least 6 years of post-qualification experience in university teaching, research, and student supervision.
- Skills: Strong academic leadership, teamwork, and administrative experience.
Lecturer I – CONUASS 4
- Qualifications: Ph.D. required; candidates with a Master’s degree and significant publications may apply. Must have a good honours degree (minimum Second Class Lower).
- Experience: At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in university teaching, research, and student supervision.
- Skills: Strong academic leadership, teamwork, and administrative experience.
Lecturer II – CONUASS 3
- Qualifications: Must hold a Ph.D. or be in the advanced stages of completing one. Must have a good honours degree (minimum Second Class Lower).
- Additional Qualification: Master’s degree holders from recognized universities with significant progress in their Ph.D. may be considered.
Assistant Lecturer – CONUASS 2
- Qualifications: Must hold a good honours degree (minimum Second Class Lower) and a Master’s degree.
