Senate President Akpabio has launched the 2024 NDDC Youth internship scheme Program. This scheme is open to youth from the Niger Delta region. Successful applicants will receive skill training and a monthly stipend of #50,000.
To be eligible, applicants must be indigenes of Niger Delta states, which include Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers States.

To apply for the 2024 Niger Delta Development Commission internship scheme, follow the steps below:
- Visit the NDDC internship application portal at https://www.nyis.nddc.gov.ng
- Enter your email and phone number to receive a verification code. Use it to finish the form.
- If you pause, click “Continue From Previous Session” and enter the code to resume.
- Enter your personal information such as full name, date of birth, state of origin and others, and then click next.
- Follow the prompt messages and make sure you complete the form.
- At the completion stage, you will see your photocard, make sure you print it out for future reference
Note, The NDDC internship printout contains your information and your registration number. Make sure you keep it safe.
